We’d like to thank all of the following people that were part of helping us in some way on this journey:
- First and foremost, we thank God for guiding us this far and giving us the strength to make it through not only the past few months, but through all of the challenges we faced 2023.
- The medical team at UT Southwestern that recognized the seriousness of the situation, got Becky on liver and kidney transplant list, performed the surgery and have managed her recovery and rehab.
- Our family for support in many ways including cat-sitting, hospital visits, ferrying supplies to Dallas, and so many other things.
- Becky’s brothers for their ongoing support and words of encouragement.
- Groups like our couples group at Northpoint and my co-workers at BAE Systems that provided support in the form of gift cards for meals and other miscellaneous expenses.
- Family, friends and co-workers that have offered thoughts, prayers, and support via social media hugs, likes, and comments, as well as via Facebook, GroupMe, plain old text messages, and even a few phone calls.
- The numerous nurses, techs, and therapists at both Clements University Hospital and Zale Lipshy Pavilion at UT Southwestern that provided excellent care and compassion.
- The staff at Cigna LifeSource and CVS Specialty Pharmacy that have been extremely helpful throughout this journey.
I’m sure there are many more that we’re forgetting. Please know that even if you’re not specifically listed here, we appreciate everyone that has stood by us and provided any type of support throughout this journey.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
