Prayer Requests

For those of you that have been prayer warriors or are ready to join in, we wanted to list some specific things you might pray for. First and foremost, we ask that:

  • We are both eager and patient enough to hear and follow God's plan.
Beyond that, we ask that:
  • We find the strength to make it through this journey and praise his goodness on the other side.
  • The liver and kidney and the rest of Becky’s body continue to get along with each other and there are minimal complications.
  • Becky is able to find the strength to participate in rehab and get back to her former strength and level of activity in the coming months.
  • The various medical teams/offices and the insurance company continue to be more helpful than they are hinderances, and that communication is as clear as possible in all directions.
  • Becky appetite grows, her nausea subsides, and she continues to find the strength and willpower to begin eating so she can reduce the tube feeding without putting additional stress on her body and new organs.
  • We and the medical team at UT Southwestern are able to recognize the symptoms of any complications as they arise and deal with them before they become larger problems.
  • My manager and leads at BAE Systems continue to find and provide task assignments that allow me to work remotely when needed while we are in Dallas for Becky’s recovery, and while supporting Becky's numerous appointments and anticipated upcoming trips to Dallas over the course of the next year.
Thank you to all of you that have been, are currently, and will continue to be supporting us on this journey! We feel and appreciate your support!
